Travis Shilling
Here are a few peices painted by Canadien Artist Travis Shilling. Some may know of his father Arthur Shilling who's carrer mostly happened in the mid 1900's, who was also a student at the OCADU in Toronto (thats my school) . Like his father, Travis is still very rooted in his aboriginal heritage, with much of his subject mater of native Canadian animals and aboriginal communities and people. I really like his skewed scene of proportion, how the objects are blown up, like the top piece of the dog in the village.

Molten Light
Molten Light by Chad VanGaalen
The animation was done by the Artist himself; Chad VanGaalen. I love the rawness of it and his illustrations. It really visually and lyrically describes the message this artist is trying make on child sexual molestation. This video is haunting and powerful. It really touched a nerve with me. Check out Chad's other stuff he has some other videos with the same style of animation. All around a really talented guy !
